Rehabilitation Project:
A $9 million dollar renovation project is underway at the Complex and is scheduled
for completion by December 31, 2010. This project is primarily focused on older
portions of the Complex. Highlights of this project include:
- The creation of the Crossroads Meeting Room above the Small Arena.
- The refurbishment of the Maclay Street entrance area, including new streetlights,
new sidewalks and landings.
- The renovation of the Maclay Street center lobby and the conversion of the meeting
rooms above the Maclay Street entrance to the Keystone Conference Center.
- The addition of a retractable divider wall in the PA Preferred Banquet Hall.
- State of the art sound systems in the arenas and throughout the older portions of
the Complex.
- Updated technology infrastructures, including electrical upgrades, new cabling and
internal and external security cameras.
- Painting of the older halls, now to be referred to as the Heritage Halls.
- The refurbishment of all seats in the Large Arena.
- The renovation of North Entrance as well as the North Lobby Grill and the North
Entrance Lobby.
- The renovation of the bathrooms in the Northwest Hall.
- The addition of new entrance to the Expo Hall at the Northwest corner of the Hall.
- New color coordinated directional signage throughout the Complex
